Football Fun

Sadly, football season is coming to an end.  I'm a huge fan of professional football, enjoy some college football, and absolutely love watching my cousin Ben play high school football!  I'm glad that Calvin will be old enough to make the trip to Quincy next Fall to watch Ben play his Senior year under the Friday night lights. 

Sundays are one of our favorite days - we had the NFL Sunday Ticket this year and got to see all of the regular season games we wanted instead of being stuck with only the crappy Rams game every week.  I wish I could like the Rams but just never have been able to force it - even when I was ten or eleven, Dad took my step brother Jason and I to a preseason Rams vs. Chiefs game and I knew I hated the Rams.

I always tell Jonathan that I hope Calvin becomes a star NFL player and takes care of us for the rest of our lives.  He would rather him become an NBA star though because they have less injuries and a longer career.  Hahaha these are the kind of conversations we have on a regular basis.  In reality, I hope Calvin becomes just like his dad - smart, successful, happy, responsible, kind, and funny, regardless of what he decides to do after high school.

The Super Bowl will be February 5 this year!  The Patriots just won the AFC Championship and now we're about to watch the 49ers whip up on the Giants for the NFC Championship - I really hope I'm not in the hospital giving birth during the Super Bowl!

My 39 week doctor's appointment is tomorrow morning and I'm very excited to hear if there has been any progression on my way to labor!
