Showered With Love

On New Year's Eve, my best friends from college threw me an awesome baby shower at Kitaro, a Japanese restaurant near my house.  It's not often we are able to all get together and it was so great.  Some of the girls came back to my house and stayed the night to ring in the New Year with Jonathan and I.  It was so much fun and Calvin received so many great gifts! Annette and Jonathan's sister Sarah threw me a baby shower in Quincy this past Saturday.  It was so nice!!  About 25 ladies were there to celebrate little Calvin.  I'm waiting to see some more pictures from Grandma Alberta but Annette did get a few uploaded, so I will share those. We received so many awesome gifts.  I had a car load to bring home!!  Sometimes it's just so overwhelming to have the love and support of so many awesome women in my life!  From my immediate family, to my aunts and cousins, to Jonathan's entire family, to my friends... I'm one lucky girl!

Over the last week I have washed and put away all of Calvin's new clothes, Jonathan and I went out and bought the rest of the baby necessities we will need for when he gets here, and have gotten his room closer to completed.  We are almost all ready for his arrival!
